Rickshaw's in the Pearl

Having trouble finding parking on your way to happy hour? Are your feet tired after a night of checking out the galleries? Worry no more; the Rickshaw has come to the Pearl!

Some of our favorite memories of traveling to New York, San Francisco, Seattle and even Lahaina, is riding in the Rickshaw.

The drivers, or, riders, always have great tidbits of information and can offer little-known insights on the neighborhoods. They can also offer a great tour around the Pearl if you are just checking out the residential condos.

Well, Portland's Pearl District is now on the map. Heidi and I had a chance to meet a couple of the riders outside of our office/gallery this past week. They were accepting only donations and will be rolling out with several new Rickshaw's in the coming weeks. Great guys with a laid back attitude.

You will find them out and about on First Thursday and most eveings...
